“Bubbles, Bubbles, Everywhere.” That is what you will find at the Discovery Cube Orange County’s Bubblefest beginning March 30 through April 21, 2019. It is a Discovery Cube’s popular spring break tradition, is new for us. We had so much fun attending the festival during preview night. It features entertainment for the family including the return of the Mega Bubblefest Laser Show with interactive science experiments including Mega Bubbles Courtyard, Water Spheres, Bubble Art Studio and Bubble Lab. The festival provides a fun, hands-on-environment for everyone to learn more about the science behind soap. At Bubblefest, you can learn the art of bubble making such as air pressure, surface tension, elasticity and more.

Mega Bubblefest Laser Show
The Mega Bubblefest Laser show was spectacular as Bubble Scientist Deni Yang and Melody Yang performed stunts and tricks with bubbles. The talented Yang family has earned multiple Guinness World Records including the longest bubble wall measuring 166 ft 11 in and encapsulating 181 people in a giant bubble. The show was performed inside the Julianne Argyros Showcase Theater. The cool thing is that kids got to sit on the floor in the front and had a chance to participate in the show. During the show, Deni created spinning bubbles, planet bubble, a bunch of bubbles within bubbles, large bubble tunnels nearly the length of the stage, etc.. Each trick was more amazing than the last. There were many laughter and hand clapping from the audiences. The finale of the show was fantastic as the entire theater was filled with bubbles. It was so magical.
The Discovery Cube will introduce a new, one-night Bubblefest Family Night on 12th from 6:00 pm β 9:00 pm. This exclusive event will allow guests to explore the entire science center and enjoy all that Bubblefest has to offer without the crowds. The price of the ticket ($55 per person for non-members and $50 per person for members) includes a private showing of the Mega Bubblefest Laser Show, special mixer with the showβs stars, complimentary parking, exclusive access to the entire science center, and light refreshments.
It was an unforgettable experience at Bubblefest as we had endless fun enjoying bubbles in many different ways. What was your favorite activity at the Bubblefest?
