If you are looking for fun place to spend spring break with your family, then look no further than Pretend City Children’s Museum. Pretend City is our favorite place since the kids were toddlers. It’s kicking off the second annual Kidstock Music and Arts Family Festival starting April 1 through April 10, 2019. The 10 days of country, pop, rap and rock music, dancing and art will get you moving and grooving together as a family. Live performances will be featured every day from 11:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. in the Traveling Exhibit as well as throughout the museum. There will be music from local musicians and interactive art activities for everyone.
One of the ‘headliners’ of Kidstock this year are “The Beat Buds” create music with a contemporary sound familiar to adults. Their songs entertain kids and resonate with the parents too. BeatBuds compose and perform catchy tunes that are rich in both spirit and message. In addition, kids have the opportunity to paint a car in the interactive “Paint Yard” installation. Art activities including wristbands, flower crowns and a weaving activity will be offered every day throughout the week from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M.
