I love the holiday season as there is a lot to see and do in Southern California. December just got here and my family has already visited places such as Knott’s Merry Farm, the Descanso Gardens’ Enchanted Forest of Light and Fa La Land. Every winter, Knott’s Berry Farm transformed the park into a Christmas celebration for all ages and it remains our all time favorite place. The park is filled with live entertainment, festive food, lavish holiday decorations and thrilling attractions. Knott’s Merry Farm is the ultimate holiday festival full of Christmas activities and attractions that the entire family can enjoy.
Guests of all ages can enjoy the amazing ice skating show like Merry Christmas, Snoopy!, traditional live Christmas Carolers, Santa’s Christmas Cabin, a Christmas Crafts Village, Calico Tree Lighting and plus so much more. If you like to shop, you will want to check out the Christmas Crafts Village filled with handcrafted and personalized items.
At Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen, kids can help decorate one of Mrs. Claus’ delicious cookies for a small nominal fee and bring home their creation. After that, head over to Santa’s Christmas Cabin to take picture with Santa and enjoy seasonal treats like Santa’s freshly-baked cookies, chocolate dipped cheesecake on a stick, seasonal craft beers and hot chocolate with marshmallows. At night time, check out the Fountain at Charleston Circle where the fountain been decked out in led icicles.

Merry Christmas, Snoopy! Ice Show
Starring the Peanut gang and cast of world class ice skaters inside the 2,1000 seat Charles Schulz theater. During the show filled with playfulness and dazzling skating, Snoopy enjoys all the best parts of the season including trimming the Christmas tree, attending the Christmas Ball
awaiting Santa’s arrival.

It’s the Merriest Christmas Show Ever, Charlie Brown
The Peanut gang put on the greatest Christmas pageant ever at the Calico Mine stage with Charlie Brown as the director.
Calico Tree Lighting
At 5:15 p.m., Citizens of Calico gather to light the grand Christmas tree in a warming ceremony featuring the Calico Bell Ringers and a special guest family that receives the present of the spirit of Christmas (in glowing orb form). This helps trigger the illumination of the tallest tree.
A Christmas Carol/The Gift of the Magi
Charles Dicken’s A Christmas Carol and O Henry’s A Gift of the Magi come to live at the Ghost Town’s historic Bird Cage Theater.
A Peanuts Guide to Christmas
The Peanut gang give their take and unique wisdom to help everyone survive the holiday season.
Calico Carolers
Calico carolers perform the songs of the season throughout Ghost Town.
Snow and Glow Show
Every night when the sun sets on the farm, the buildings and paths in Ghost Town’s Main Streets are filled with glow and snow.
