Tanaka Farms Pumpkin Patch Featuring Hello Kitty & Sanrio Friends

Every year, my family and I look forward to attend the Tanaka Farms Pumpkin Patch with Hello Kitty & Sanrio Friends. The Tanaka Farms Pumpkin Patch took pumpkin patch to another level of cuteness. Tanaka Farms, a family-owned farm, was established in 1940 and has been dedicated to provide all families with high quality produce while promoting the importance of healthy eating and practice responsible farming and agricultural. Enjoy wagon ride, petting zoo, corn maze, u-pick veggie and photo ops with Hello Kitty, Keroppi,  Chococat, My Melody and Pochacco. Tanaka Farms Pumpkin Patch runs from September 21, 2019 through October 31st, 2019.

Barnyard Education Exhibit

Visit the different breeds of goats, suffolk sheep, kunekune pigs, rescue chickens, bunnies, alpacas, and even donkey. Food is available to purchase to feed the animals.

U-Pick Veggie

Pick your own veggies right out of the ground such as radishes, green onions, cilantro and fresh carrots.

There are different types of pumpkins to pick from such as Cinderella pumpkin, Fairytale pumpkin, Porcelain doll pumpkin, Jarrahdale pumpkin and Polar Bear pumpkin. Try to find them all.

Pumpkin Canon

This is fans’ favorite activity where a pumpkin is shot each time a wagon rides by the cannon. It is free to watch or for a fee of $5, you can blast the cannon yourself. Available during Fall Harvest Festival. Weekend Only.

Enjoy games, ATV rides, arts & craft activity, face painting, and more during Fall Harvest Festival. Extra tickets required. Weekend only.

Hello Kitty Entry Package

New to this year is the special Hello Kitty Entry Package that includes admission, wagon ride, and Barnyard Educational Exhibit, plus your choice of a Limited Edition Hello Kitty + Tanaka Farms gift for $20.00 per person. This saves up to $10 per person and can only be purchased upon entry or advance online. For the Limited Edition Hello Kitty + Tanaka Farms gift, you can select either plush, mug, canvas tote bag, button set or enamel pin while supplies last. I was disappointed that the mug and canvas tote bag were no longer available. However, the plush, button set and enamel pins were cute and my kids wanted to collect all of them.

Tips Before You Go

  • Bring water, hats, sunscreen and grocery bags so you can put veggies and/or pumpkins.
  • Wear comfortable shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Avoid wearing sandals/flip flops, open-toed shoes or high heels.
  • Bring wipes to clean hands after picking veggies or pumpkins.
  • Purchase parking passes in advance, which are required for weekends only.
  • Portable potty only.
