Beautiful Blossoms at Fresno Blossom Trail

Spring is kicking off early in Fresno County with thousands of trees covered with pink and white blossoms along the Fresno Blossom Trail. Starting in mid-February and lasting for a few weeks (depending on the weather), the trail is filled with pink peach, nectarine and apricot blossoms, white almonds, plums and apples blossoms in addition to orange citrus blossoms (their perfume is delightful). This is a do-it-yourself guided drive through the colorful 62-mile loop of fruit orchards during the spring bloom.

We began our drive at the Simonian Farms, which is run by the Simonian family for many generations since 1901. From the corner of Clovis and Jensen, we drove clockwise to start the Blossom Trail. Be sure to follow the cute “Blossom Trail” sign. Due to our busy schedule, we went near the end of the blooming season and most the blossoms have already fallen from the trees. However, we were lucky enough to find beautiful blossoms near the end of the loop on S Mendocino street between Rose and Adam. We recommend spending a few hours to complete the trail. We will definitely visit the Fresno Blossom Trail again next year and hopefully it will be a full peak when we go.
