There are so many world-famous landmarks and popular attractions to visit such as Warner Bros Studio Tour, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Knott’s Berry Farm, Aquarium of the Pacific, OUE Skyspace LA + Skyslide, Guinness World Records and much more. My family and I love to explore local attractions while looking for ways to save when we visit them. With the Go City pass, we can save up to 60% on top attractions for one low price. It is perfect for visiting attractions without much of a time constraint. It offers many different packages around the world at major cities.

Warner Bros Studio Tour

Recently, my family and I used the Go Los Angeles Explorer passes and visited the Warner Bros Studio Tour. For this attraction, we made reservation in advance for the Studio Tour to go during Thanksgiving weekend since the tour time was based on availability. Confirmation email was sent to us along with check-in instructions. It is recommended to get there 30 minutes before the tour time. When we got there, we showed our passes on the Go City app at the check-in station to exchange for Warner Bros Studio Tour tickets.

Once our group was called, we were placed in a room to watch a 5-minute video on the Warner Bros Studio history and an overview what to expect to see during the tour. After that, we broke out into different groups with our tour guide who took us around the studio in a goft like tram that holds about 14 people.

Exterior set

Our first stop was the DC Universe: The Exhibit. The exhibit display favorite DC films including Aquaman and Wonder Woman. We got to see an up-close of some of the costumes and props that were used during movies. All the costumes looked so amazing with the We then walked upstairs to the Wizarding World to see costumes and props from the original Harry Potter and Fantastic Beast films.

After that, the tour guide took us to the backlots where we saw exterior sets for classic films and TV shows such as Batman, Gilmore Girls, Friends, La La Land and more.

We then stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show set to view her stage. Wow! It was decorated beautifully with the holiday decorations. Shortly after that, we stopped by the Batcave, which featured authentic cars as seen throughout Batman’s cinematic history. Each vehicle was unique including the Bathammer, Batpod and Tumbler. After the Batcave, we visited the famous Prop Department, which features one of the largest selections of modern furniture, lighting, hand props and rare antiquities.

At the end of the guided tour, we were dropped off at Stage 48 to begin the self-guided portion of the Studio Tour. We were able to get up close and personal with the Central Perk set from the hit sitcom Friends. Also, we got to check out the β€œArt of Sound” and experience how sound engineers made Gravity film come to life. We did the green-screen experience of riding broom from Harry Potter and riding the Batmobile from Batman. It was free to dress up and experience the green-screen, but the final video and photo can be expensive to buy them all. We also got to hold an Oscar, which was surprisingly heavy.
