Las Vegas Neon Museum – Where Neon Signs Retired

I’ve been to Las Vegas many times and had been wanting to go to the Neon Museum. I was so happy when my friends decided to join me during our girl’s getaway. The Neon Museum is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to preserve iconic Las Vegas signs for historic and cultural enrichment. Known as the Neon Boneyard, this is where the neon signs go to when a casino becomes too old or outdated. It’s located approximately 10-15 minutes from the Las Vegas strip.

We booked tickets the combo guided tours with Brilliant! about a month in advance due to tickets can sell out quickly. The evening tours seem to be popular. During the one hour guided tour, we got to learn rich history of where the neon signs came from. There were so many amazing stories behind each sign. We stayed near the back of the group tour so no one was in our photos to get the best shots. Keep in mind the time of the day you want to shoot and where the shadows will be in your photos. The Brilliant! is a 30-minute light show where classic Las Vegas signs magically come to life through light and sound. It incorporates flashing and strobe lights so may not be for everyone. It was truly an immersive experience.
